Alternatively inland Andalucia offers a taste of "Real Spain" and spectacular scenery.
 

Malaga is a common arrival point for visitors to Southern Spain but all too often the journey from the airport leads to the coast and the famous Costa Del Sol. But travellers often miss the delights of Malaga itself and of inland Andalucia too. The scenery is rural, often spectacular with mountains, rivers and lakes and the villages of the area still offer a taste of the true Spanish way of life whilst offering modern amenities and facilities.

A traditional village house or even a rural cortijo offers not only great value for money but also an invitation to the world of Markets, Tapas and amazing Spanish cuisine. On a more practical level prices are significantly lower than down on the coast offering a lot more house for your euro.

Today the area is as popular as ever with a wonderfiul climate and over 300 days of sunshine each year and is a popular destination for sailors and golfers as well as the sun-worshipper.
